Australia’s Canning Stock Route
Journey
down the longest and most remote stock route in the world, from
Billiluna to Wiluna (or vice-versa). Passing through remote and isolated
landscapes, the Canning Stock Route was built in 1910 to break the
West Kimberley beef monopoly.
Beginning in Halls Creek and extending all the way to Wiluna in the
mid-west, a distance of over 1,800kms, the Canning Stock Route will take
you from rugged terrain and sheer isolation to freshwater springs
creating oases in the middle of nowhere.
On these small group 4WD expeditions you’ll encounter narrow gorges,
sheer cliffs, ancient Aboriginal art sites and engravings of explorers
and drovers. The Canning Stock Route is an expedition for the
