As Peru finally opens up after the pandemic, the only luxury night train in South America - the Andean Explorer - resumes operations.  This is an unforgettable experience through the unparallaled landscapes of Arequipa, Cusco and Puno, aboard its elegant wagons on expeditions of one or two nights. You can also enjoy the Hiram Bingham Train - traditional vintage style Pullman wagons, running five days a week across the Sacred Valley between Cusco and Machu Picchu. Joyous news at last - one of our favourite Himalayan destinations, Bhutan, will finally be fully open from 23rd September 2022 when all entry restrictions and quarantine will be lifted. The Black necked Crane Festival is held annually in November. Why not ask us about attending, either this year or next? New 2023 dates for a 10 night Laos Mekong expedition

We are pleased to announce that from January 2023 new 14 cabin river cruiser Sabaidee Pandaw, will operate a ten night Laos river expedition from Vientiane to Chiang Saen.

The 10 night Laos Mekong offers probably the most exciting river expedition anywhere with its fast waters cutting through rocky gorges, towering mountains and rich forests. There is so much human interest as well - with stops in tribal villages and a couple of days amongst the Buddhist shrines of Luang Prabang.
