Dear Adventurer
Who would have dreamt of the day that
Covid-19 would not make news headlines? Yet now we are focused on
something much worse - the daily atrocities being inflicted on Ukraine.
Our hearts are with Ukraine's citizens and we hope and pray for dialogue
and a speedy resolution.

CHILE - more good news
Chile
provides the intrepid with the opportunity to experience both the lush
wine-growing regions around Santiago and the harsh wilderness of the
Cape Horn fjords, where seals and penguins frolic in the bitterly cold
waters. For sheer drama, the granite peaks in Chile’s Torres del Paine
National Park are breathtaking. As of last week, PCR testing upon
arrival in Santiago is now on a random basis only. If tested, you only
need to isolate for up to 24hrs till your negative result is through.

I am proud to have passed my Hill and Moorland Leader Award
on Dartmoor last month. Walking has been a good antidote to the
difficulties faced by our industry. Stormy conditions, torrential rain
